Job Training and Assistance

Our goal is to help challenged children become independent adults, able to function on their own wherever possible, and becoming tax paying adults rather than tax users.

Today’s global economy calls for an efficient and highly skilled work force. This, in turn, puts pressure on young people as they prepare to enter the world and earn their own living. This is especially true of young people with disabilities who begin their job training process at age 14. For them, this is a particularly anxious time, filled with uncertainty.

The SEDOL Foundation provides support for job training in several ways, from recognition events aimed at encouraging businesses to hire and provide job experiences for young adults with special needs to providing specific situations calling for clerical tasks that promotes confidence and the use of job skills.
